The community is invited to a fun free ?edutaining? event about Monterey?s own Gold Rush! The Friends of the Monterey Public Library will present ?1849 Monterey Gold Rush Day? on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 1:00 PM ? 3:00 PM at the Monterey Public Library, 625 Pacific Street, Monterey (831-646-5632). Free for the whole family, there will be music, exhibits, educational programs, giveaways for kids and adults, snacks and refreshments.
